Traveled from Northeast to the South
My husband and I have lived in the northeast all our lives and a turn of events has put us unexpectedly elsewhere. Due to an employment opportunity for him, sadly we decided to move out of the northeast...the place we called home all our lives. Sad it was at first, but now we are enjoying where we live. This is now home and it is beginning to feel more permanent. Leaving family and friends behind was extremely difficult, but that is what is so cool about Facebook, Google, cell phones, Facetime, etc... you can keep in touch anytime!! I love all this technology because I feel close to those I have left.
Life is a bit different where we are now, but it was so worth walking through the opened door. Like Walt Disney quoted "We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we're curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths." That is exactly what my husband and I did...stepped out into the open door and went through. We knew there were better things waiting for us because God opened that door. It is beautiful where we live now, the weather is a bit better, the people are a bit nicer people, and it is more laid back, yet still have the vibe we like about suburban living. I have to drive a little farther for my Starbucks or Trader Joe's fix, but I get to drive through magnificent scenery. So worth it!!
Lesson to learn here: If you feel a tug at something...at some decision or whatever, pray to God and ask him to reveal what that is and what it means. God has the most amazing plans for his children, and why ignore them and think that is not possible. He is good and he does good things for his children.
